Bubble Shows: Pros & Cons - FOX edition

In this list of blog series i'll present the pros and cons of every bubble show and also the possibilities of them returning. Don't expect to see shows like Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family & The Vampire Diaries on the list.

The Pros & Cons list continues today with  FOX's few bubble shows

The Finder

In favor: The only thing that can help The Finder is the fact that its Bones' spin off and FOX loves Bones. At the other hand The Finder is doing the same numbers that Fringe's doing and the later got a renewal for a final season.

Against it: The Finder is definitely not Fringe. The second has a huge fan base, strong international  sales, and good syndication prospects. The Finder doesn't have any of the above.

The Verdict: 5-95

Alcatraz

In favor: While ratings have fallen during its run, Alcatraz is a big DVR gainer and also has strong international appeal. And for some reason FOX likes renewing low-rated genre dramas from producer JJ Abrams.

Against it: The Live+ Same Day ratings were low and the fact that FOX canceled Terra Nova, which  had way better ratings and was in-house production (Alcatraz is produced by Warner Bros TV) doesn't look promising.

The Verdict: 10-90

Touch

In favor: Even with decling ratings, Touch is FOX's No 1 new drama this season. Star Kiefer Sutherland is a big draw in both domestic and international audiences.

Against it: Following American Idol, which is of course not the powerhouse that it once was, Touch sees series low almost every single week.

The Verdict: 60-40
