NBC Renews 2, Cancels 1

NBC has given full season orders (22 episodes) to its two new comedies, "Up All Night" & "Whitney". While neither is a breakout hit, Up All Night has done admirally on the difficult Wednesday 8pm slot while Whitney has doing ok thanks to The Office lead in. No mention for "Free Agents" but expect some (bad) news shortly(maybe even this week). Meanwhile NBC canceled "The Playboy Club" after just 3 episodes. Repeats of struggling "Prime Suspect" will take over until new talk show's "Rock Center" premiere on October 31.
