CBS won the night (9.35/2.7) with The Big Bang Theory (13.77/4.2) Two & A Half Men (11.17/3.4) & the 2012 Vice Presidential Debate (7.79/2.1).

FOX 2nd (6.80/2.4) with The X Factor (8.25/2.9) & the 2012 Vice Presidential Debate (5.34/2.0).

NBC 3rd (5.73/1.9) with 30 Rock (3.46/1.4) Up All Night (3.46/1.2) &
the 2012 Vice Presidential Debate (6.78/2.1).

ABC 4th (6.91/1.7) with Last Resort (6.93/1.6) & the 2012 Vice Presidential Debate (6.90/1.8).

The CW 5th (3.32/1.4) with The Vampire Diaries season premiere (3.48/1.6) & Beauty & the Beast series premiere (3.16/1.3).

NOTE: In women 18-34 The Vampire Diaries scored a 2.5 rating, while Beauty & The Beast a 1.6 rating.
