More quick reviews

Time to continue my qucik-reviews with the comedies i watched last week and another two dramas.

New Girl: One of the best pilots this season but i have to say that from the previews that i watched i expect it to be funnier. Zooey Deschanel is indeed adorable (or maybe i should say adorkable?) and the 3 guys are great casted. Its sad that Damon Wayans Jr. will be recasted (due to his commision to ABC's Happy Endings) cause he was my favorite.
Grade: A-

2 Broke Girls: The pilot was funny but i enjoyed the second episode better. I have know idea what the main plot will be out of this The Odd Couple-ish story (maybe this cupcake business) but we shall see.
Grade: B+

Whitney: Critics said awful things about this Whitney Cummings comedy in which she stars (She also co-created 2 Broke Girls). But i actually liked the pilot. It had some funny moments. For a comedy that i expected to be dreadful, it's actually not that bad.
Grade: B-

Up All Night : You have Christina Applegate, Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph and you expect a must-see comedy. But after watching the pilot i was really disappointed. Great cast but the script was weak. And even worse the second episode was weaker.
Grade: C

Pan Am: That was unexpected. I never thought that i'd like this pilot that much but i did. I don't know what will happen in the future (every episode in a flight can easily become boring) but it has a lot of potential. And who thought that flight attendants can be hotter than playboy bunnies.
Grade: B+

Hart Of Dixie: A cute pilot with likable actors and a modest script. i didn't like how Rachel Bilson's character Zoe narrated almost all her life in the first 5 minutes. And its just me or this Harley guy was too old to be her father? But overall its a cute show. Nothing more.
Grade: B-
